Dr. A. Jerome and Crystal Butler

Born in New York City, he has lived in the South for more than 25 years. Dr. Butler presently lives in the Columbia, South Carolina area with his wife Crystal L. Butler. Dr. Butler is a graduate of Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He has his BA in Psychology from Webster University, and BA in Health Science from Columbia and has attended Northwestern University, the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff, Maryland University and Erskine University. Dr. Butler has received his Ph.D. and Master’s degree from Cenfield School of Religion, where he was an Associate Professor of  Old Testament Religion and Systematic Theology. His present ministry is building homes for Veterans and homeless families (The Grace Project).

       He pastored two rural churches. He has done extensive projects in Africa with Aids education and has helped build wells in Madras, India. Dr. Butler has authored 5 books. Dr. Butler was the TV host of the Power of Your Destiny Broadcast in Augusta, Georgia. Presently the host of Moments of Grace Podcast. Dr. Butler’s efforts received notoriety from the Mayor’s Office and local Judges in Augusta, Georgia, for his community impact through Project Connect. He was the Volunteer of  the Year in 1997 at the Belle Terrace Community Center as well as an inductee of the Outstanding Young Man of America in 1998. He was a volunteer with the Augusta Chapter American Red Cross as a Disaster Caseworker during Hurricane Katrina and served in the Armed Forces, where he received an Honorable Discharge. 

   Dr. Butler was the facilitator of Zion’s Bridge. Zion’s Bridge was an International Prayer Group for Pastors, Teachers, and fellow ministers of the gospel. He was ordained a Bishop in the Lords Church in 2012 where the   Diocese  of South Carolina appointed him over Three churches in South Carolina, one in Georgia and one in Uganda Africa. He has a 8:00 est Facebook prayer and teaching session called Sunrise Saturday.

      He has spent over 20 years in the financial arenas of mortgage, investments, and insurance industries. Utilizing that knowledge, he endeavors to assist people in understanding the fiduciary correlation of debt. He has guided people through their financial enigmas by applying simple budgeting and fiscal disciplines—a member of the Life Underwriters Training Council (LUTC) he has received several honors for business.       Dr. Butler is a Motivational Speaker, Life Coach, and Ordained Minister who has been a Senior Pastor and Ordained Bishop (Presbyter) with The Communion and Independent Churches United. Dr. Butler has one purpose, which is to use the wisdom of the ages and make life relevant for this time. His simplistic and realistic teaching helps to pick up the pieces in life that do not seem to fit. He has contributed to transform, motivate, and cultivate thousands of lives through his teaching.
