I first met Dr. A. Jerome R. Butler in Greenville, SC when we both embarked on our quest for knowledge, as academia students seeking undergraduate degrees. Dr. Butler soon became a mentor I looked up to very much. He demonstrated integrity and Christian family values and offered kind words of encouragement. He always spoke highly of his family and his belief system and demonstrated a servant’s heart with helping others in need around him. 

After graduation, we kept in touch periodically on social media and an occasional check-in, and constant prayer for one another. Several years after our paths parted ways, he invited my husband and myself to speak at a marriage conference in Greenville, SC. His invitation was way more than that at the time, and even to this day, I am not sure exactly where my marriage would be without the lessons share there that day. Dr. Butler’s testimony and the testimony of all the others he had speak that day truly touched our lives forever.

Dr. Butler’s testimony shines through his actions with others, in what he speaks, and what he believes. His presence truly touchesthose around him, and always with a kind encouragement, whether it was through spoken words, or a silent smile. Each week I would look forward to connecting with my school friend with a comment or like on his encouraging Facebook posts, which always had the tag line “A Moment of Grace”. I am so excited to see “A Moment of Grace” grow over the years, from a social media post, a radio show, to a podcast, and now an inspiring devotional for busy life. A Moment of Grace has always been a pause in my day, a way to connect and be present, in HIS presence. I have no doubt in my mind that this devotional is blessed with a divine mission, of helping you to do the same.

Carol P: Dr. Butler is very knowledgeable of the stock market and in investing. The mentorship that he provides is the best. I downloaded an stock app in 2018 but didn't know what to do, until after being coached and guided in the market by Dr. Butler, I invested in a stock and made a 78% return on my investment. Thanks, Dr. Butler for taking time to teach us how to become wise and savvy investors.

Dr. Butler was just what my wife and I needed. He was professional and treated both of us with the utmost respect. It was truly a blessing to know he cared about our spiritual relationship with God as well as our commitment to each other.
